Mr. Bryce Hunter

Mr. Hunter hails from Memphis, TN, originally attending Memphis Central High School as a trumpet student. During his time there, he was actively involved in the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association All-West Band and the Tennessee All-State Jazz ensemble. Following graduation, he was awarded a Full Academic and Band Scholarship to Jackson State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Music Education. During his tenure at Jackson State University, he was engaged in various musical activities including the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and the Sonic Boom of the South.

Under the direction of Hunter, the Central High School marching band was named Grand National Champions at the 2024 USBands/STATS Competition, and the Symphonic Band received Superior Ratings in Concert Performance.
